Every year we support a different charity. Our charity this year is EveryChild.

Every single year over 30,000 children die from preventable causes. Hundreds of thousands more are abused, exploited or forced to survive in appalling conditions that we can barely imagine. They are victims of poverty, locked in a vicious cycle with little hope for the future.

EveryChild is fighting to change this.

EveryChild works with some of the world's most vulnerable and marginalised children to enable them to grow up free form disease, poverty and exploitation - as valued individuals within strong communities. They work with children, communities and governments acrosss 18 countries to ensure that every child has a right to an education, healthcare and to grow up in a loving family with a secure future.

EveryChild's work is always practical. They make sure their projects, and the benefits they bring, can be sustained by the local community after they have left. This means their work is not just a "quick fix" for poverty. It takes root in the communities where they work, delivering lasting improvements in the lives of children and families.
